The Patron Saints of Our Society
Aside from Our Blessed Mother, there are so many beautiful holy women among the saints, it was difficult to choose which ones to be our special patrons. They had to be someone young girls would admire and try to imitate. Many renowned virgin martyrs came to mind along with the holy queens of Christendom, but as we could not take every lovely maiden of the heavenly court, we narrowed it down to these five obvious women who heroically took charge of the domestic chores of the household and cared for the needs of the people around them.
Our Saints
St. Anne, the mother of Mary and great patron of Housekeepers;

St. Zita, the patron saint of housemaids, who was so relentless in her work she was made head of the household;

St. Martha, the sister of Lazarus and Mary Magdalene, who worked tirelessly to please the Lord;

St. Veronica, who wiped the face of Jesus and therefore became the patron saint of Laundry maids;

And last but not least,

Blessed Mother Margaret Bosco, the mother of John Bosco and our Honorary Patron.
